The Department of higher and further education is a structural subdivision of MES RK and will be directly involved into the project. The main functions of the department: 1. coordinating of integration of the system of higher and further education in the world educational sphere; 2. improvement of scientific content of the standard educational programs and corresponding textbooks and reference books, as well as contents of unlighted and methodical organizations` work, providing higher and further education; 3. opening of magistracy, doctorate in accordance with the established order; 4. determination of the list of the specialties in common with ministries and departments and participation in working out and realization of the special programs of higher and further education; 5. working out and exercising the control of realization of the educational programs in the test regime and experimental projects; 6. working out and submission for consideration general state standards on all steps of higher education and control of their following introduction and observation in educational process.
